Today for lunch Peanut and I had pea soup and toast. Then for dessert I tried to serve up some fruit cocktail. I bumped the jar and quite literally sent it flying across the room. It landed just short of the carpet (whew) but the splash zone was from the dishwasher to the middle of the floor, around the high chair, and below the table. It was a huge sticky puddle dotted with peaches, pears and cherries. Peanut joyfully yelled Boom! and giggled for the next half hour as I cleaned it up. Who knew that a thirteen month old already experiences schadenfreude?!
